- Snow and its formation
- Types of winter storms (e.g. Alberta Clipper, Nor'easter, Lake Effect Snow, etc.)
- Characteristics of hurricanes
- Tornado Alley
- Types of tornadoes (waterspouts, funnel clouds, etc.)
- Characteristics of tornadoes
- Wind
- Fronts
- Jet Stream
- Direction winds blow in (it's OPPOSITE! The Westerlies blow east and the Easterlies blow west)
- Scales and their usage (e.g. Saffir-Simpson, Fujita, Beaufort, etc.)

- Weather Scientists
- HISTORICAL STORMS (Research some historical hurricanes and tornadoes, one will be guaranteed to show up on the test. Not going to help you though.)
