I'm going to move the quiz to Saturday because I'm planning to do something fun next Thursday. Nothing usually happens on Saturday library meetings, so I decided to move it so everything works out.
Everything about the quiz on the last post still applies, but the activity I'm planning to do at our next meeting will make everything a lot easier. :)

Quiz Information 12/4
You will need to know the following for the quiz next meeting:
- Different types of clouds and their properties
- Different weather instruments and their uses
- Temperature Conversion between Fahrenheit/Celsius/Kelvin
- Water freezing and boiling points
- "Special" clouds and how they are formed (fog, fractus, contrails, etc.)
- Definitions for some terms
- How a thermometer works
- Cloud identification
There will be 25 questions on the quiz. There are 7 multiple choice questions, 3 fill in the blank, 3 true or false, 2 definitions, 1 short answer, 2 instrument identification questions, 3 questions on temperature, and 4 cloud identifications.
The questions on the worksheet that will be very helpful to go over are:
- Question 1: Cloud Identification
- Questions 3-6: Cloud Naming and Altitude
- Questions 11-12: Cloud Formation
- Questions 17, 19, 20: Cloud Miscellaneous
- Questions 21-34: Definitions and Weather Instruments
- Questions 39-51: Identifying different instruments with a picture
- Questions 54-60: Temperature Stuff
- Questions 63-78: Just knowing how to convert stuff
There will be extra credit questions, so if you want to, you can study the ones we didn't do (Questions 18, 35-38, 52-53, 83-84). All of the information on the test will be on these three powerpoints (once I get them done):

Homework Assignment for 12/4
Finish the questions for the first three units on the assignment sheet (1-84). Use the PowerPoint information to answer questions 18, 35-38, 52-53, and any others you may not have known. If you have any questions, I can answer them at the next meeting.
Next week, we will be having a quiz on clouds, weather instruments, and temperature conversions. Be sure to know how to identify clouds and their characteristics, different weather instruments and their purposes, and how to convert between the three temperature units. We will be taking the quiz first thing on December 4th.
If you have any time, you can look over climate, seasons, and temperature. It will be the next unit we will be covering. Hopefully I can make all the PowerPoints by the end of Thanksgiving Break.
